SEC Football Picks for Saturday

Published Nov 16, 2007

Last week, SEC Sports Report was 67% accurate in their SEC football picks. Nobody expected Tennessee and Georgia to dominate like they did. We did pick the Miss State upset over Alabama which was not seen by the professional betters. This week, we have another round of great picks and we believe we will increase our percentage rate from last week.

Hope you enjoy the games.

SEC Game of the Week: Georgia Beats Kentucky.
Mark Richt has awakened his team. The greatest indicator of who will win is hunger level. Georgia has to be hungrier for this game so we like the Bulldogs. Georgia has to win to be in play for the SEC Title.

Highest Percentage Pick: Florida Beats Florida Atlantic.
Ex-Miami Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger is going to get a lesson on speed from the Gators.

Best Chance of a SEC Upset: Miss State Beats Arkansas.
The professional betters have Arkansas as an 11 point favorite. Eleven points is right in the danger zone as far as lines go. All season long, we have seen eleven point favorites go down in flames. The favored team tends to get over confident with 11 points. Miss State is leading the SEC in upsets beating both Auburn and Alabama. Arkansas has played one great game all year. We like the Bulldogs in this one.

SEC East Battle: Tennessee beats Vandy.
Tennessee is playing for the SEC title for the next two weeks. Fulmer has tended to get his teams up for the big games this year. Tennessee should be hungry which gives them the edge. Tennessee has to win to be in play for the SEC East Title.

SEC West Battle: LSU beats Ole Miss.
LSU is #1 and the last time they had that honor, Kentucky upset the Tigers. Even though this rivalry has been a good fight over the years, we believe LSU has too many horses.

SEC Non-Conference Game: Alabama beats Louisiana-Monroe.
Saban will not be upset two weeks in a row. We like the Tide in this one.
