The Cherokee County Humane Society's Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, Nov 19th, and you're invited to come trot for a great cause.

Time:
Registration - 7 am; 5K – 8 am start; 1-Mile - 8:30 am start

Place:
3105 Gaddis Rd, Canton, GA 30115 - near Hwy 20 between Canton and Cumming

Course:
Rolling hills around scenic Woodmont Golf and Country Club

Cost:
After 11/13 5K $20 adult and $18 per child;
1-mile $15 adult and $13 child;
Day of Race - $20 for everyone.

Enjoy post-race refreshments from Chick-fil-A of Canton and Sweet Tomatoes of Barrett Parkway (first-come, first served), door prizes and the satisfaction of contributing to a worthy cause as the holiday season approaches.

Please DO NOT bring your pets to run or walk with you. At this time, the Turkey Trot is for 2-legged runners and walkers only (children in strollers count, too). Look for other events in the future that will include your pets. Please tell Fluffy and Fido we're sorry!

AWARD LEVELS: Overall top male/female Finisher; Overall top male/female Masters; Top 3 male/female Finishers in following age groups: 10 & under, 11 - 18, 19 -39, 40-49, 50 and over.
