Forsyth Martial Arts kids prepare for AAU tournament
Students at Forsyth's own Karate USA Taekwondo are preparing for next months AAU Regional Taekwondo Championships. The event held February 26 in Norcross will have athletes from 6 states competing.
Karate USA will be sending 30-50 students to compete for the Gold and to qualify for the Junior Olympics to be held in New Orleans later this year.
Last year two Karate USA students placed 3rd at the Junior Olympic National Championships at the Georgia Dome.
Athletes will compete in forms and Olympic sparring events.
