The Pinecrest Academy Paladins have begun preparation for there inaugural varsity football season. The Pinecrest Paladins are members of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA). GISA is an association of 134 private independent, and parochial schools throughout the state. The football program is going into its' third year. The Paladin varsity team is made of 24 freshmen and sophomores, who have stepped up to play against juniors and seniors. The Paladins are lead by Nick Shirley, Ryan Grieb, Austen Grieb, Robby Malinowski, Eric Quintana, and Shane Murphy. The Paladins are finishing up there summer workouts and have worked hard throughout the year anticipating their upcoming season.

Charles Wiggins is the head football coach. He is going into his second year at Pinecrest. He has assembled a coaching staff with over 60 years of coaching experience.

The Paladins will play a ten game schedule with their opening game against Gatewood Academy from Eatonton. The game is schedule for August 20, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. All the varsity home games will be played out of Sharon Springs Park. The public is invited to attend and support the Paladins!
