Based in Sharpsburg, Georgia, Sequoia Golf Holdings owns and manages the Canongate Golf Clubs. Canongate has offered a quality, affordable private club experience for nearly 40 years. Sequoia Golf Holdings plans to maintain the Windermere golf course at a premium standard and is retaining the management team including Vincent Spencer, the current General Manager, and Brett Gratz, the current course Superintendent.

While at some future point the Windermere golf course may be converted to a Canongate style private club, for now it will remain open to the public. Windermere residents will continue to receive a special rate. Windermere Signature Golf members will retain all their current privileges and, as a new benefit, will receive full reciprocity with all nine Canongate clubs.
