Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center welcomes Legendary Hall of Fame Football Coach Vince Dooley to Coach’s Corner. Vince Dooley, featured on the Coach’s Corner “Wall of Legends,” will be in the restaurant from 2:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday, October 23, 2005 to sign each of his newest books, Tales from the 1980 Georgia Bulldogs and DOOLEY, My 40 Years at Georgia.

Stars and Strikes is located on Highway 9, just west of GA 400 off exit 14. The 52,000-square-foot facility in Merchants Square (occupying a portion of the former Wal-Mart) is a virtual playground, offering a 5,000-square-foot mega-gaming arena with the latest and greatest in video game technology; a 2,800-square-foot black-light laser tag maze; 36 bowling lanes; four meeting/party rooms; a snack bar called Starlight Drive-In, complete with lane servers who deliver your food to your lane; and Coach’s Corner Sports Bar and Billiards, a full-service restaurant offering gourmet burgers; four premium billiards tables; Texas Hold Em on Tuesdays and Thursdays; trivia and ladies Bunko night on Wednesdays and karaoke on Fridays.

Owned by Alpharetta neighbors Chris Albano and Jack Canouse, Stars and Strikes was conceptualized as an all-American place where families, friends, co-workers and teammates could come together and have wholesome fun in a safe environment. Since Stars and Strikes opened in July, the entertainment center has experienced an overwhelming number of enthusiastic families taking heed to Stars and Strikes’ call to “get away and play.”

Stars and Strikes is ultimately a place you must see for yourself. There’s a time for everything under the sun, including a time to work—and a time to play.
