Mary Jo Allen, age 60 of Cumming, passed away Wednesday February 27th, 2008. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Geneva and Greenville T. Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Osco Nichols, Elco Nichols, Leona Gazaway, Jimmy Nichols, Kathalene Nichols.   

Survivors Include:  Husband of 30 years Charles Edward Allen, 3 Sons James Allen of Lawrenceville, Glen Allen and Jason Allen both of Auburn, Ga. Daughter Teresa & Larry Smith of Cumming, Brothers and Sisters Imogene & Charles Eubanks of Buford, Willene & Charles Picklesimer of Winder, Robert & Nellie Nichols of Cumming, Eugene Nichols of Dawsonville, Clyde Nichols of Winder, Demar Nichols of Buford, Dorothy Nichols of Buford, Marvin Jett of Cumming, Fred Jett of Cumming, Melvin Nichols of Dawsonville.  Grandchildren Jason Allen, Jr., Hope Allen, Jacob Allen, Chelsa Redd, Heather Smith. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday March 1, 2008 at Byars Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 p.m until 9 p.m at the funeral home.
