David K. Richardson, 51, of Dawsonville died Tuesday March 4, 2008 at Northside Hospital Forsyth following a sudden illness.
Born in Rome, GA, he had lived in Dawson County for over 25 years, having moved from Forsyth County. He owned and operated David Richardson Hauling, Inc. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Winnie Richardson, sister, Linda Richardson and brother, Charles McDaniel.
Surviving are his wife, Debra Richardson, Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Michael Thaxton, Cumming; grandchildren, Tiffanie and K. C. Thaxton, several sisters, brothers and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 6, 2008 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bobby Dumford will officiate. Interment in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
