It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas for Shirley Wells of Canton —- she won $225,000 recently from the Georgia Lottery.
Wells bought the winning ticket at a QuikTrip at 4865 Old Highway 5 in Woodstock
"Everyone in the store congratulated me," she said. "I still can't get over it."
Wells and her husband, Jerry, have three children and three grandchildren. She said they plan to pay off their house and buy a new car.
"This is the best Christmas ever! Ever! Ever!" Wells said.
