Suspects Apprehended in Cherokee Stabbing Incident

Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Division have arrested three suspects connected to the stabbing that occurred yesterday morning in Shadowood Mobile Home Park.
All three suspects who are from the Acworth area were located at the Peaks apartments on Bells Ferry Road in south Cherokee County.
Mario Gonzales-Leija, 28 years old, Anastacio Zarzosa-Gonzales, 19 years old, and Florentino Guerra-Loera, 18 years old, were all charged with Aggravated Assault. Leija received an additional charge of Simple Battery.
All three suspects are in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
