Sexual Assault Suspect Sought

On 01-16-2008 a Hispanic male forced his way into the room of a Hispanic female at the Hamilton Inn located in Cherokee County. The suspect claimed to be an INS agent and told the victim he would deport her if she did not have sex with him. The suspect forced the victim into the bathroom where he then handcuffed her and began to remove her clothing. The suspect was eventually scared off by the victim’s children and fled the scene. The suspect did have a badge of some description and handcuffs that were worn in a pouch on his belt. 

Suspect Description:
The suspect is a Hispanic male with a Cuban or Puerto Rican accent.  Five ten to six feet tall, short black hair, brown eyes, and a prominent mole on the left side of his chin.   Suspect was dressed in a black jacket with Old Navy in gold letters, white dress shirt and tie, dress pants and black dress shoes.

Vehicle Description: 
Late model charcoal or gray Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis with tinted windows. The vehicle had tall chrome rims, spotlight, and possibly a loud exhaust. The victim said she thought the tag was a Georgia handicapped tag but did not get numbers.

The suspect may have also been driving a light green colored Nissan Altima with unknown tag, prior to the attack.
