Cherokee Sheriff’s detectives arrested three suspects in a follow-up investigation related to Monday’s bomb threat of the Cherokee County courthouse.
While executing a search warrant at the home of Christopher Sutton, the man charged with making Monday’s bomb threat, detectives located counterfeit money and drugs. Although looking for cell phones and SIM cards, four thousand and eight hundred dollars worth of counterfeit $20.00 bills and a small amount of Methamphetamine was located inside the home.
Tammy Shoemaker, 46 years old of Canton, was charged with possession of Methamphetamine and Drugs Not Kept in Original Container. She is in the Cherokee County Adult Detention center with a, $11,780.00 bond. Loy Windham, 36 years old of Marietta, was charged with 61 counts of Forgery in the 2nd Degree. He is also in custody with a $658,000.00 bond. A third individual , James Curci, 40 years old of Canton, arrived at the residence while the search was being conducted. Curci was arrested on outstanding Gwinnett county warrants.
Investigators suspect the money was being produced at the residence which is located on Alex St. in Canton. Two computers, scanner, and paper cutter were seized in the search. Additional charges are likely.
