Armed Robbery Suspect Sought

Deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery Tuesday night at the Chevron located at the intersection of Highway 5 and Sixes Rd.
The clerk at the store reported that at approximately 9:50 pm she was standing outside the store when a white male armed with a shotgun approached her and instructed her to go back into the store where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register. The man then fled the store on foot. The clerk was not injured.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing tan shorts and a dark hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with any information related to the robbery or the suspect is asked to call the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Division at 678-493-4166 or 678-493-4080.
