Federal and State tax forms and publications are available at the Pickens County Library and the AARP Foundation is providing free help for taxpayers with low and middle incomes. Volunteers from Tax Aide™ will be in the library’s meeting room on Thursday mornings, from 9:00 to 12 through April 12, 2007. Help is given on a first come, first served basis.

Sassafras Literary Exchange Awards Ceremony
Sassafras Literary Exchange will present awards to the Middle and High School Writing Contest Winners. The public is welcome to come and encourage our young writers.
