The tornado watch area is 110 miles east and west of a line from 60 miles northwest of Anderson, South Carolina, to 35 miles south of Panama City, Florida. Much of Georgia is now falling under the tornado watch.
Destructive tornadoes, large hail up to 2 inches in diameter, thunderstorm with wind gusts up to 80 mph, and dangerous lightning are possible.
