Local author and humorist, Ronda Rich, will appear at the auditorium of City Hall on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. If you need a dose of laughter or two, you will not want to miss this special appearance!
Ronda Rich is the best-selling author of What Southern Women Know (That Every Woman Should), a book that is now in its second printing, after being bought by a major New York publishing company during a four-day auction.
In 2002, Harper Collins released a memoir of Rich's years in NASCAR racing as a journalist and publicist. My Life in the Pitts became a favorite among readers and critics alike.
The sequel to her first book was released in May 2005 and is entitled, What Southern Women Know About Flirting. On the very same day, Berkley, a division of Penguin Putnam, released Ronda’s first novel, The Town That Came A Courtin’. This marked the first known time in publishing history that an author has released two new books on the same day -- quite a feat!
A former award-winning sports writer, Ronda, a native and resident of Gainesville, Georgia, also writes a syndicated newspaper column about the South and its women called, “Dixie Divas.” She has also appeared on dozens of television shows.
Her appearance in Cumming at the end of this month is a highly anticipated treat and will be a delightful comic relief during times where it seems that much of our news is negative.
So be certain to mark your calendars for October 25th at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall in Cumming. Admittance is free, and Ronda will be on-hand to autograph her books.
