Macy's is Looking for 50 Singular Sensations with the Emphasis on "Sing"

Published Oct 4, 2007

Once again, Macy’s is looking for 50 Singular Sensations with the operative word being SING. To celebrate this year’s Lighting of the Macy’s Great Tree, the iconic retailer is putting together a 50-member All-Star Holiday Chorus. The choir will perform two numbers in the show including the "O Holy Night” finale with the featured vocalists. Choir participation is completely voluntary.

The legendary event will be held Thanksgiving Night, Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Macy’s Lenox Square location. The event will be broadcast live on WSB-TV and nationally throughout the holiday season via syndication.

Susan Hancock Vice President of Macy’s South Special Events is thrilled, “This will be the third year for the Macy’s holiday chorus and we’re looking forward to meeting and auditioning talent from all over city.”
