Forsyth County Library Celebrates Dr. Seuss’s Birthday
“Come and read! Come and play! Come celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday!” Even the “Cat in the Hat” is coming to a “Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss” program Wednesday, March 2, at 10:30 a.m. at both the Cumming and the Sharon Forks library branches.
Featuring Seuss classics like One Fish, Two Fish, Red Blue Fish and Green Eggs and Ham, the show will last about 30 minutes and conclude with birthday cake. Guests will do the “Seussy Pokey” and enjoy a puppet show based on McElligot’s Pool. The program is free, and no reservations are needed.
As the Cat in the Hat himself might say, “Songs! Stories! Make no excuse! Sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Dr. Seuss!”
