Local Sponsors Contribute to Forsyth County Home & Garden Show

New Forsyth County Home and Garden Show receives support from Northside Hospital, BellSouth, Up in Cumming magazine, Upgrade Landscaping and Atlanta Home Resource Directory...

The Sawnee Cultural Arts Center announced today that five metro-area businesses have pledged their support to the Forsyth County Home & Garden Show.

Paula DeLong Glover, the Center’s Executive Director, thanked Northside Forsyth Hospital, BellSouth Real Yellow Pages, Up in Cumming magazine, Upgrade Landscaping and Atlanta Home Resource Directory for donating funds or in-kind contributions to help the Center organize this new event for home and gardening enthusiasts.

Northside Forsyth Hospital supports year-round theatrical programming for families and children at the Sawnee Cultural Arts Center. This year, the Northside Hospital Foundation and Northside Forsyth Hospital has granted funds for increased community and general interest programming. In addition to the Home & Garden Show, the hospital also sponsored the first annual Back to School Expo in July.

BellSouth and The Real Yellow Pages have generously contributed advertising for the Center’s 2004 Performing Arts Season and increased community programming.

Up in Cumming magazine also supports year-round theatrical and community programming at the Center through advertising contributions. As an added treat for guests at the Home & Garden Show, the September issue of the magazine will be on display and will feature home improvement tips and suggestions for fall planting.

Chris and April Cox of Upgrade Landscaping recognized the Center’s need for a landscaping makeover and have graciously donated plants and labor to dress up the main entrance. “Our front entrance hasn’t changed since the Center opened in 1992. I am so grateful to Upgrade Landscaping for recognizing our need and for stepping forward to fulfill it,” said Glover. Chris Cox added that the updated entrance landscaping will be finished before the Home & Garden Show, so the Center will have ample opportunity to show off its new look.

Atlanta Home Resource Directory is supporting the Home & Garden Show through advertising. The Atlanta Home Resource Directory is published monthly, in full color, by Kaysie Routh. Publisher Kaysie Routh has also donated free copies of the September issue for each Forsyth County Home & Garden Show guest.

The Forsyth County Home & Garden Show will be hosted at the Sawnee Cultural Arts Center on Saturday, September 25 from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, September 26 from noon to 5:00pm. Vendor participation is open to all metro-area businesses specializing in home and garden-related industries. The deadline for vendor registration is September 1 and registration information is available online at http://www.sawneecenter.org/hgshow.
