Taste of Atlanta is proud to announce the Atlanta Wine School’s (AWS) involvement with the Wine Experience at the 2007 festival. Hosted by AWS, it will feature a vast selection of wine for tasting, delicious hors d’oeuvres provided by Flat Creek Lodge and Costco and fruit sampling by Fruit Flowers. The Taste of Atlanta Wine Experience is presented by Robert Mondavi Private Selection and will be held in the ultra exclusive and high-end Ten Pin Alley. A member of The Dolce Group, this elaborate bowling alley is a distinguished take on an American classic, featuring 12 bowling lanes, living room styled seating and a private lounge.
Michael Bryan, Founder and Executive Director of AWS called the Taste of Atlanta Wine Experience, “geography in a glass,” with different wine regions throughout the globe being explored. Bryan’s deep-rooted passion for wine lead to the creation of AWS and the school’s philosophy has resulted in using wine to foster connections with people on multiple levels.
“The Atlanta Wine School embodies my passion for wine and allows me to share it with a great number of people. To have the partnership with Taste of Atlanta, that experience is only heightened. It is great to be a part of the food and wine community in Atlanta and even greater to share my knowledge and love with everyone ranging from the novice to the sommelier,” Bryan commented.
“We are ecstatic to have the Atlanta Wine School hosting the Wine Experience,” said Taste of Atlanta President Dale Gordon DeSena. “It is just one of the new additions to Taste of Atlanta 2007. Whether you are a wine connoisseur, a wine lover or are simply willing to try something new, the Wine Experience is guaranteed to be a great time. It represents what Taste is all about: Atlantans gathering together to enjoy some of life’s simplest indulgences!”
