25th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest Announced in Buckhead

The Steamhouse Lounge along with Andrews Upstairs and East Andrews Cafe & Bar are proud to present the 25th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest 2008 on Saturday, February 16th and Sunday, February 17th in Buckhead West Village on East Andrews Drive at Roswell Road and Cains Hill Place.

Gates open at 11am on Saturday and at 12pm on Sunday. In addition to 120,000 hickory grilled Louisiana Pearl Reef oysters, 100 gallons of the award-winning Steamhouse lobster bisque and an Old Bay shrimp boil, there will be musical performances by Swami Gone Bananas, The Dean Dollar Band, Tron Jackson, WILX, Eight Point Buck, Crash Davis Trio and others.

"We are especially excited this year for our legendary Buckhead Oysterfest that celebrates our 25th anniversary," said festival founder and Steamhouse Lounge owner Sam Weyman. "We are having the same great party, just blocks away from the original location."

Advance tickets are $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass and are on sale now at www.TicketAlternative.com. Tickets are $15 per day at the gate. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics. This is an all ages event with children under 15 admitted for free. Artists are subject to change without notice.
