Sawnee EMC Youth Scholarship Program SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to receive a Sawnee EMC scholarship, you must be a senior at one of the following schools or your permanent residence must be served by Sawnee EMC.
* Application packets are available through the counselor's office at each of these schools.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
Two (2) $2,000 scholarships will be awarded in the year 2005.
The scholarship must be used at an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Important information requested:
Include school, community and work activities, and letters of recommendation as mentioned on application.
Attach a two-page autobiographical essay.
Note: This is a necessary part of the entry. Applications that do not include an essay will be voided.
Judges panel will consist of three (3) retired educators.
The four finalists will be asked to come to Sawnee EMC for a short personal interview.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
All scholarship applications and required material must be received by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2005. Applications and/or information received after this time will not be considered.

INELIGIBILITY
Family members of Sawnee employees, CATF members and Sawnee Board of Directors are ineligible.
NOTE: These criteria apply to Sawnee EMC scholarships to be awarded in the year 2005, and are subject to annual review and/or change.
