Abrakadoodle and Akers Academy announced on Wednesday, Nov. 9, the launch of its artistic enrichment classes at Akers Academy’s preschool and after school programs at both its Alpharetta and Cumming sites. Akers Academy, recently recognized by the Georgia Association on Young Children for attaining perfect scores from the State Regulatory Agency, will utilize Abrakadoodle to bring top quality creative art instruction and materials in painting, collage, sculpture and mosaics to its participating students.

“Akers Academy’s approach of bringing each child the very best is a natural fit with the high quality found in each class presented by Abrakadoodle,” co-owner Caroline Akers explains. “We are very selective in the relationships we develop with other child-oriented businesses that are presented to our parents. Our parents see Abrakadoodle as an extension of Akers Academy.”

“We will make a marvelous difference in the lives of these children as they create their own ‘masterpieces’ while discovering a variety of artistic styles, techniques and terminology. It is a privilege to be working with Akers Academy, whose passion for children’s well-being is paramount,” said Joan Harbin, Director of Abrakadoodle Atlanta North Metro.
