On Tuesday, March 15 you will have the chance to cast an important vote for the future of our County. The Board of Education is asking for our approval of a $170 million bond issue to fund 5 new schools and related school infrastructure projects. In public meetings and other communications, Superintendant Paula Gault and representatives of our fine education team have explained the need for these bonds, how the money will be used, and how the bonds will be repaid. They've also been honest in answering questions, and in explaining the consequences should this funding be denied. They are doing their job, and as citizens, we need to do ours.

Please make sure you and your neighbors vote on March 15, and we strongly encourage you to VOTE IN FAVOR. For detailed information, go to www.bondforschools.com , or contact any school board or administration representative.

At the same time that we are asking for your support, we're also reiterating our frequent requests to the County's elected leaders to work together and to seek your input on how to better manage the growth that is driving these and other infrastucture needs. These school needs aren't the only gaps we have. Our schools are the best in Georgia, and strive to compete on a national and international level by using proven planning tools. We need to more effectively plan for the County as a whole, and make tough, smart decisons that are fair to all. We stand ready to support that intiative too so that we don't have to continue to face the situation of 33,000 approved but unbuilt homes on top of our current problems!

Please share this message with your neighbors and friends.

Sincerely,

John Pickering, President, Federation of Forsyth County Homeowners

Paul Corbeil, President, South Forsyth Homeowners Coalition
